The Corten lamps Itria were inspired by the symbols painted with white lime on the dome-shaped roofs of the trulli, the typical constructions in stone and conical shape of Apulia. The magical, primitive and Christian symbols were used by the inhabitants as a good luck charm. The Itria Collection recalls the white symbols, recognizable still today, in the detailed Apulian landscape. The symbols on the Corten sheet allow the light to pass through the cuts and to spread in the environment. Indirect lighting does not create excessive glare and it is spread with elegance and harmony.
