Cement

Cement is inspired by ceramics and the organic forms created during pottery wheel throwing and play. The final silhouette however is created with cement moulded in a silicon cast produced using an old porcelain electrical insulator from the SERVOMUTO archives. The concrete has a wax finish and is silky smooth. The light bulb fixture and visible stem is made from copper and the texture of the pure linen lamp shade complements beautifully with the cement base.
