Ottagono

Ottagono is a wall lamp that pays homage to Apulian architecture and territory, with optical effects punctuated by the colours of Pimar stone. A material dialogue between stone and burnished brass. Dialogues between materials, between man and nature, between nature and architecture, spatiotemporal dialogues territorial identity, nature and architecture, at the basis of Pimar's narration and through a design path defined by an open gallery, a reference to architecture, to the portico, to the peristyle of the Roman house, as vestiges immersed in luxuriant nature. The Dialoghi Materici collection conceived by the AposPersano duo, becomes a sort of perceptive experience, a layered reading between minimal, almost primordial signs, references to art, optical, the result of a continuation of research into visual perception. Stone in its essentiality lends itself to multiple uses, from architecture to design. The new products, designed by AposPersano for Pimar, have essential sculptural forms with geometric rigour, punctuated by material colours in shades of white, beige and grey and marked by striped or smooth and silky textures, where the stone material is in dialogue with new materials.
