Quasar is a portable table or pendant lamp, made of anodized aluminium. Fascinated by circular shapes, Samy Rio wanted to give this object a look as pure as eccentric. Deeply tied to craftsmanship, Samy has spent two years of research to bring his project into production, a perfect compromise between technical choices and efficient use. A nod to the world of astronomy, Quasar (contraction of "quasi-stellar") is the galaxy’s brightest star. The Quasar portable lamp is rechargeable and wireless, with a range of 6 to 12 hours. It can be used as a table lamp or, thanks to the rope placed on the top, as a suspension.
