In Cubie pendant light, on.entropy mines the contemporary design potential of a classical material, by transforming the austerity of raw marble into a luminous and warm rock.
Mission consists of a seamless volume of marble and a satin mat bronze frame. Where marble is carved, light is introduced which exposes the materiality of the precious stone and its unique vein pattern. As such, it is used both as a source of light and as a statement piece of contemporary ornamental value.
The process of emptying and filling up of space is vital to the identity of on.entropy.
