Pontecorvo is a table with mirror-polished veneered top and 3D faceted solid wood edge, base with arched legs in wood and painted steel. Finish in Macassar ebony and semi-gloss coating for an excellent touch effect. The inlaid details in rosewood are handmade by Tuscan cabinetmakers in the center. The gondola base in a mix of steel and wood gives strength and elegance. This extraordinary piece combines new trends in design and architecture, without ever forgetting the rich tradition of the past. The double personality of this table is beautifully combined, the Decò meets contemporary lines, while reflecting Mantellassi's philosophy of challenging the past through the future. Pontecorvo is a series composed by dining table and chair. Both in the objects and in the finishing touches, in modern and semi-gloss colors, Cosmopolitan collection, previewed at the 2019 Edition of the Milan International Furniture Fair and designed by Nicola and Roberta Mantellassi, reveals a great attention to manufacture and care of details, the result of an extreme manufacturing preciousness.
