Each piece of ceramic is unique and has the imperfections derived from its artisanal manufacturing. The handmade ceramic shades are very decorative and also adapt to different styles (from rural, Mediterranean to contemporary spaces). This design allows to have a long lasting, easy to clean lighting fixture, that creates light effects due to the light bounce from the interior of the shade. Working with natural ceramic benefits the environment, reduces pollution of water and air, and the use of toxic substances. By combining these elements, Luxcambra wants to transmit quality, at a relatively competitive price for both hospitality and private projects. This design can be combined in various spaces such as hanging lamp for high and low ceilings. Its unique presence, whether in its simple linear version or the new rectangular ones with both symmetrical or asymmetrical arms, expresses its flexibility to fill spaces with one single lighting fixture. The versatility of the collection is shown here by these multiple combinations (in both structure and height) as the lamp can be installed in public open spaces, large hallways or above tables for example. The Absis collection pays tribute to the traditional Catalan vault and to one of the materials used for its construction: the clay from the Vacamorta area in the Empordà region of Girona (Spain). For these handmade pieces, each one of them has its own identity. The terracotta of the lampshade combined with the iron structures gives to the collection a natural warmth, ideal for different types of spaces. Whether switched on or off, the uniqueness of the material, its finishes and its shapes urge the user to touch the lamp and explore its natural quality.
