The small version of Lumina’s iconic Daphine lamp now comes in a rechargeable wireless version, the Daphinette Portatile.
It’s a compact free-standing lamp that is highly versatile thanks to its key features:
- adjustable arm and diffuser enabling the light beam to be off-centred and directed
- compact base ensuring stability and housing the rechargeable battery
- advanced touch technology for lighting control (fully dimmable).
Unique qualities that make the Daphinette Portatile ideal for both domestic spaces (eg. living room, studio, bedroom) and contract and retail spaces (eg. restaurants and stores) and anywhere else requiring a wireless lamp that’s amply adjustable and with high luminous quality.
And last but not least, aesthetically impeccable.
Despite the necessary modification of its proportions, the Daphinette Portatile reprises the unmistakeable structure of the Daphine and perfectly embodies the insight of its designer, Tommaso Cimini: “Lots of light, not much lamp”.
It has three elements: the base, recalling the original transformer, in which the battery is housed
the 25 cm arm with its ample range of manoeuvre
the unmistakeable semi-cylindrical 8-hole diffuser, which emits a high-quality beam of LED light.
Let’s look at each of them.
The compact and stable base has a battery providing an autonomy of up to 24 hours at minimum power and over 6 hours at maximum. The base also has touch controls for on/off and dimming and a USB-C port for recharging.
The proportions of the Daphinette Portatile’s 25 cm arm are specially designed to facilitate moving the lamp and to optimize its use (by avoiding glare). It can be tilted backwards or forwards through a total of 180°, thus providing maximum off-centring of the light beam, giving the user plenty of flexibility and increasing the surface area illuminated.
The diffuser, the signature element of the entire Daphine family, rotates through 360° and can be pointed at will. This means maximum freedom in directing the light beam.
