MODEL D is an upholstered fabric or leather chair with solid wood structure and armrests, designed by Bart Vos for Linteloo. Body: Wooden frame with polyurethane foam in varying densities for optimum support and comfort, wrapped in hypoallergenic polyester fibre, 100% cotton inner cover. Legs/armrests: Solid wood (walnut or ash). Upholstery: Composition depends on the customer’s choice of upholstery. Fabrics are available in both natural and man-made fibres. Leathers are either aniline-dyed or aniline-dyed and topcoated. Origin: Hand made in Italy. ‘Keep it simple’: with the MODEL D, Bart Vos brought the concept of a chair back to its bare bones, using as little material as possible. The end result is a light and airy, inviting and comfortable chair, that will easily adapt to any environment, whilst still holding its own in quality and looks. Originally designed in aluminium, today’s MODEL D comes in tactile wood.
