Hästens, in collaboration with the world-renowned master architect Ferris Rafauli, has created the Grand Vividus, a bed with mattress that is an entirely new level of perfection in comfort and luxury. When Rafauli, known in the architectural world for his posh, awe-inspiring homes, designed the Grand Vividus, he took inspiration from Hästens’ heritage as saddle and bed mattress makers.
The bed is a spiritual creation of Hästens’ horsetail hair, wool, cotton and flax. The Grand Vividus is entirely built by hand by the only few people in the world who have the ability and skills required to create this masterpiece: Hästens’ most masterful craftsmen, in the factory in Köping, Sweden. Made of 100% breathable cotton, Grand Vividus is hand-upholstered with the exclusive fabric designed by Ferris Rafauli based on the iconic Hästens horse crest, originally created in 1917. The leather of European origin is tanned without chemicals and dyed in four colors chosen by Ferris Rafauli. Cut with absolute precision, burnished and polished for an even finish.
There is a choice of four colors – Black Shadow, Traditional Blue, Natural Shale and Phantom Charcoal
