A'mare is a polycarbonate garden bench with backrest part of the homonymous collection, designed by Jacopo Foggini.
A collection composed of chair, armchair, bench, sun lounger, coffee table and tables realized with pure polycarbonate sticks made by hand. The name is A’mare, a play on words that expresses the love for designing together with the idea of solidifying water into precious objects.
Sea and water, with their stunning reflections, become the protagonists of the living space through these furniture pieces that are welcoming landscapes of relaxation and comfort.
A’mare was born from the same material of which it is composed: polycarbonate. The sticks are handmade one by one and apparently rigid. They are arranged in series, to create a very resiresistant elastic weave that provides the maximum comfort, thanks to the resilience of polycarbonate.
The structure is elementary but at the same time very refined. The transparency and the reflectance of this material are the main characteristics of the product that if immersed in water disappears, if hit by sunlight or other light sources from certain angles, it can lit up with endless shades.
The characteristics of its slight elasticity, the high endurance of each stick and the generous dimensions of the sun loungers, assure an unprecedented and absolute comfort.
The cushion upholsteries are made of a special acrylic fiber fabric, with an irregular and mélange texture. The special material is resistant to light and stains, and is treated to be water repellent. A "green-blue" color, like the shades of water, is the ideal covering for the A'mare collection.
A’mare collection meets all the values of universality of use of the Edra collection. Created to last over time, A’mare fits easily into interior spaces, given the purity of its aesthetics.
The irregular, solid and flexible polycarbonate becomes fluid and liquid at sight. Its combination with flawless and
transparent glass, gives life to tables of great harmony, lightness and elegance.
