Chiaroscuro and different tactile sensations come together in an illuminating way in the Ava suspension lamp. Available also in a free-standing lamp version, it is a harmonious expression of the material. The structure in walnut-stained solid ash is surrounded by a straw lampshade in bleached reed bark with a light fabric as a diffuser to create a relaxing and luminous effect.
The collaboration between De Padova and Spanish designer David Lopez Quincoces, which began with the AVA collection presented at the 2022 edition of Salone del Mobile, continues in 2023 with the addition of a lamp to the collection. AVA is primarily characterised by purity and essentiality. The extreme care in the assembly to delicately piece together the wooden parts, as well as the use of Vienna straw and a light fabric for the diffuser, create a pleasant and relaxing luminous effect. The lamp can be used as a suspension light or free-standing piece.
