Table monta

In close collaboration with Pernette Perriand-Barsac, daughter and sole heir of Charlotte Perriand, Cassina introduces a new model to its collection that has never been industrially produced before: the Table Monta coffee table. Excellent material textures The refined design of Table Monta is testimony to Cassina's wood-craftsmanship skills that are evident both in its structure, formed by two elliptical legs, and its oval-shaped top. Characterised by fluid lines, the top features an outer ring composed of eight symmetrical sectors, assembled with elaborate workmanship carried out by the company, that frames a precious marble slab. Originally designed and used by Charlotte Perriand in her own home, Cassina presents Table Monta in a single size available in two versions: an exclusive limited edition of 30 pieces, just like the original which had a natural walnut base combined with an Azul Bahia granite top, a precious material that appears like a watercolour for its intense blue nuances, and a new interpretation in black-stained ash. In an evocative correspondence of textures, the latter version is combined with a black Marquinia, Alpi green, Sahara Noir or Calacatta gold marble matt or polished top. Authenticity guaranteed With the utmost respect for authenticity, like all products in the Cassina iMaestri Collection, each piece bears the logo and author’s signature, in addition to the model’s progressive number and, in the case of the limited edition, numbering from 1/30 to 30/30 too.
