The inspiration for the project came from observing the way that jewellery makers add one gem after another to create necklaces or pendant earrings. Snowgems is a system of Snowsound sound-absorbing panels of different shapes that are literally “threaded� onto various different structures and supports: totems, room dividers and partitions, and ceiling and wall modules. The panels are available in four colours, dark grey, quartz pink, aquamarine, and ice-white, and may be combined to achieve the desired chromatic effect.
