This robust downlight is perfect for use outdoors in soffits or under porches. It provides warm, ambient illumination and an optional glare guard is supplied to improve visual comfort. The Solway is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED GU10 bulb. Made from natural solid brass, which will take on an attractive aged patina over time, the Solway is supplied with Astro's 10 year guarantee. The Solway does not come with a bulb and will require 1 x 6W Max LED GU10 MR16 shaped bulb. A cutout diameter of 83mm / 3-1/4in and a recess depth of 100mm is required. An IP65 rating gives the Solway jet proof protection for safe installation in bathrooms and over shower. This downlight is Class I - Earthed for your safety.
