Nao Tamura, this year's special guest at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, designs a reinterpretation of the TURN project. Entirely made from a sculptural block of stainless steel, TURN CRAFT is a table lamp that experiments with original material and chromatic effects. The extreme formal purity of the lamp is enhanced by the elegant glossy black version. The finish is obtained through a complex process of coloring the steel that Ambientec is using for the first time and which gives the color fullness and resistance over time. The result is a versatile lamp, which fits into any type of environment thanks to the discreet and sophisticated shade and the high strength performance of the material. The essential design is enriched with new sensory vibrations with the fine hand-stitched Italian leather, also in black, which wraps a portion of the stem.
Worn character for TURN CRAFT in brass version. The special multi-stage coloring process, without transparent varnish, gives the finish shades that will vary over time. An almost nostalgic allure that reinterprets the contemporary lines of the lamp, enhancing its intimate and meditative light. The covering of part of the stem in hand-finished leather is back, perfect in the warm and natural tones of the leather.
