Information
Naoshima is an high bar stool in beech or oak plywood, natural wood finish, lacquer or dye. Legs in natural or dye beech solid wood & natural or lacquered oak solid wood. The Naoshima stool series designed by Emiliana Design Studio plays with the expressive and structural potential of curved wood. The virtuously assembled meandering silhouette of the seat suggests visual play between matter and nothingness. Available in three different heights, the stool joins four identical pieces to create the seat, the extension of which connects to solid wood legs, creating a strong and stable result. Since 2018, Naoshima stool is part of the contemporany art collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. It winned the Red Dot Award 2016.
