Kasa is geometrically strict and intelligently playful, and thus ties in mentally with Wolfgang Hartauer's Meterware arrangement system. The inner milling of the Kasa bowls has the same dimensions as this, so that the two systems harmonize ideally with each other. The texture of the bowls appears soft and lively. The theme of volume, light and shadow has been explored in miniature and results in a coherent body - a kinetic system for desk and storage.
The Kasa filing system can be stacked to form small sculptures and is shapely and extremely versatile. The shell series milled from the solid wood convinces with a clear and at the same time soft form, the hand-pleasing feel, the precise workmanship and the carefully selected woods maple, European oak and American walnut. Round wool felts on the underside of the bowls, which are available in three sizes, make them playfully stackable and combinable.
