Here, the molten glass poured over a surface extends from the centre to the edge in concentric circles. The glass stops flowing when it encounters a ring-shaped element that limits and defines its size. Lulù results from the desire to translate this very simple creative procedure into a lighting element via a precise renewal of the ring. The ring in fact becomes the decorative item that lightens up the glass it holds, from the edge to the centre in this case.
