BLADE 180 is a horizontal waterproof sunshade which can be fitted to existing structures even if they are perfectly level. It only needs a 0,5% slope, which is achieved within the support frame, therefore resulting completely unnoticeable. BLADE 180 is the only sunshade available for sale, featuring perfectly plane surfaces. Beside improving the appearance of sunshade from above, this feature allows rain and wind to clean up dirt and leaves, keeping the sunshade clear and avoiding fall out of debris when the sunshade is opened. In case of rain the sunshade closes automatically compressing slat gaskets and pushing lateral gutters against slats achieving a perfect seal. A single module can have a maximum dimension of 300 cm by 600 cm. Slat movement can be controlled very precisely between 0° and 135°, always achieving the desired level of shade. BLADE 180 can be fitted to structures of any type or material, as aluminium, steel, wood. Our products have a minimalist aesthetic, with no visible screws, and are ready to be fitted with lightning or heating elements. BLADE 180 is built to resist strong winds and snow accumulation.
