The shape of this collection of lamps recalls and pays homage to the old candle holders with handles, commonly called “bugia� in Italian, the simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This curious anecdote today also accompanies the “modern� Bugia: a table or wall lamp in the single or double light versions, as simple as it is ingenious.
