It seems like a simple stairway but within seconds it becomes a support to those who see it as an insuperable obstacle.
Our stairway-platform is an automated system of stairs which normally should act as normal stairway that can also be paved, but in case of need it “turns” into a freight lift system for the removal of architectural barriers.
We have developed two versions of this system: the first includes 5 mechanisms which perform both: as a stairway it can be used at different heights and, once stopped, it is stabilized with jacks while
as a pantograph platform it goes up and down in a synchronized manner
the second includes 5mechanisms that perform the function of a stairway over a single mechanism that performs the pantograph platform function.
