Plume is an instantly recognisable table lamp that offers an experience that is anything but ordinary. Rakumba and Skeehan Studio present their latest lighting collaboration. PLUME uses the common architectural material of aluminium and employs innovative manufacturing techniques to create a sculptural and colourful table lamp. PLUME is composed of two pressed aluminium leaves that conceal an internal light source. The two leaves are joined at the base and diverge upwards to reveal a soft light that radiates a vibrant glow of colour. Inspired by the valleys and ridge lines of the Australian landscape, the result is a vibrant and distinctive piece that attracts attention through its use of bold colours and its sculptural, minimalist form.
