Superstar

SUPERSTAR, first presented in 2011 in Milan, is made of 150 parts in transparent flexible PVC and LEDs (Bubbles® system). The air acting as a filling material makes a truly lightweight lamp. Inspired by traditional crystal chandeliers but made using modern technology, its geometrical shape fits perfectly for both contemporary and classic interiors. Constructed from polished stainless steel. Low-voltage lamp with wall/ceiling mounted transformer in brushed stainless-steel and acrylic cover. Single suspension cord with small ceiling attachment. The PVC contains UV filters to preserve its transparency. The lamp is available in three shades of LED-light: cool-white (6500K), neutral-white (3500K), warm-white (2700K). Light source: 150 x LED BUBBLES® modules (integrated with the lamp) STAR is a collection of spherical lamps made using the unique Bubbles technology. Years of experiments, many trials and prototypes, all led to the creation of these unusual lamps. The first was the Star, designed in 2004, then came the Superstar and further Stars followed. The last, in 2016, was the smallest, Starlette. These lamps are suited to both residential and public spaces. The Bubbles combine a unique technology made up of air, flexible plastic, steel, and LEDs. The main component of these unusual lamps remains the air, which makes them extremely light.
