Shibusa is an indoor series composed of a lounge chair and a chaise longue. The structure in bamboo heartwood support a seating area in igusa, a natural material capable of filtering and purifying the air, retaining harmful substances in the environment, absorbing and releasing humidity to create a constant microclimate. Igusa, cultivated since ever in Japan, is traditionally used to produce tatami. Paola Lenti proposes a decidedly contemporary version in 2023, characterized by a delicate multicolored pattern.
Structure: turned bamboo, treated with water-based products that do not affect the wood colour and the naturalness of the surface. Plastic spacers.
