Information
A-1880 is a comfortable chair, the prototype of which should be sought during the nineteenth-century industrial revolution. It was then that Michael Thonet created the legendary chair No. 14, which redefined the design assumptions. Thanks to the patent on the technology of bending beech wood with the help of steam, the chair could be made at the same time very light and durable, and easy to transport. It was also one of the first chairs in history that consisted of such a small number of elements and was intended for self-assembly. Available with wooden or upholstered seat.
