The pine cone as symbol was frequently used in ancient architecture and you can still find it as decoration for many balconies of aristocratic buildings in the Apulian region.
Its shape recalls an opening blossom and becomes a symbol of new life, prosperity, fruitfulness and luck.
Now, thanks to the meeting with Officine Tamborrino, its traditional identity is being revised, as for the first time “Pumò” covers the pine cone with steel and expresses the dialogue between past and future, giving the shape of a pure line to an object of Apulian tradition.
