The time when shop fittings stayed in the same position for twenty years is firmly behind us. Modular shopfitting calls for modular lighting, which is why Modular Lighting Instruments – the clue’s in the name – is introducing Spektra. This is a spotlight specifically designed to zoom in with precision on beautiful objects, thus opening up a wide spectrum of possibilities for the retail environment.
Together with the French designer Florent Coirier, Modular Lighting Instruments has developed Spektra for the retail environment. This simple but powerful spotlight emits a very natural-looking light.
With Spektra, you adjust the beam width with the rod: from a narrow beam to highlight a small object, to a wider beam for a larger area. With the adjusting screw, you can change the angle of the luminaire with precision. The design’s modularity is its key benefit. By using a lens instead of a reflector, Spektra focuses in even more detail on the highlighted object.
Spektra is the first track-mounted spotlight in Modular Lighting Instruments’ portfolio to have an adjustable zoom lens. This is ideal in a constantly changing retail environment, where retailers wish to place particular emphasis on beautiful products. Naturally, the quality of the light is superior and extra-powerful: LED lighting with a CRI of 90 or more creates a highly naturallooking colour experience.
