Carabottino

Carabottino is a coffee table that is part of a family of objects united by the use of solid wood elements milled and assembled using simple joints. This table with its highly iconic image is characterized by a simple geometric mesh. Transparency and solidity nd a perfect synthesis in this object that will give any environment a sophisticated character. Materials: canaletto walnut, basswood. A wooden lattice that is presented in a two dimensional form traditionally made of wooden strips, is considered an accessory element of relative importance, a bit like a window frame, it is not perceived as an object in itself, as no grating objects or grills become objects. Its graphic appearance, a consequence of the construction logic, makes it recognizable and punctuated by vertical and horizontal intersections, the play of solids and voids, of images that overlap and that are filtered through their texture makes them vibrant as if they were moving pictures.
