Reflex is a pendant lamp. The introspective psychology is the inspiration for the lamp, which, among other things, shows how a person's consciousness reacts to the shapes, colors, tactile and light characteristics of an object. The theory is based on the concept of reflection, which gave the name of this collection. Reflection (from Latin reflexio - turning back) is a thought process aimed at self-knowledge, analyzing your emotions and feelings and behavior. Based on this theory, we studied the influence and associations on different forms and chose a circle and a ball. As a symbol of the sun and earth for a large number of people. Very suitable for a light object. Having done a survey among our loved ones and acquaintances, we decided to choose the option of light flux. We found out that many positive memories in humans are associated with nature, where complex re-reflected lighting is present. Apparently, this is related to the lifestyle of our ancestors, which originally lived in forests, as indicated by the findings of charcoal together in the sites of primitive people. Next, we decided to choose materials for development and settled on fabric. This material is as close to man as possible tactilely, since we almost always feel it on our bodies. By choosing these basic parameters, we have found a technical and visual solution. They made a fabric circle on a thin metal frame to shape it. We used fabric with a reflective effect to increase illumination. And also, we wanted to emphasize the properties of a natural material with a large texture. After that, we spent a lot of time figuring out for a long time how to create complex re-reflected lighting inside it. And they decided to divide the circle in two in the middle with a slit. An LED lamp was placed inside in the form of a ball with 2 light sources on two opposite sides. This created a complex, re-reflected light effect. Moreover, in the LED lamp we used glass matte diffusers. We used in such a way that natural fabric and glass are not in dissonance with each other. The last task for the design was a suspension system. To do this, we made a metal pipe. Rounded the corners in it for a more harmonious shape.
