Information
The organically playful ssymmank (formerly „Integra“) caused quite a stir at the end of the 1950s. The colorful bobbing luminaire head was offensive to many critics and did not fit in with the views of pure functional design at the time.
It was Walter Gropius who recommended the ssymmank for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in 1981, because its innovative performance is hidden inside: heat-resistant polycarbonate and interchangeable petals represent the enthusiasm for technology and diversity of forms at that time.
The standard version has white leaf elements. In our accessories you can find other colors: yellow, apricot, red, blue, violet and green.
