Information
Due to its great versatility, Jordi Vilanova introduced the Fanal lamp in different types of environments: apartments on the Spanish coast, flats in the city, mountain houses, shops, offices, etc.
Jordi Vilanova oriented his creations under the most current concepts of lifestyle, within a European functionalism marked by the Scandinavian influence, in which the logic of design was always displayed with simplicity, sobriety, austerity, formal and technical quality. It was a benchmark in the transition between the ways of making crafts and industrial design and deliberately positioned itself in a ""third way"", in search of a new modern aesthetic based on Mediterranean roots that fit perfectly into the social and technical idiosyncrasies of Catalonia.
Remaining faithful to the debate between crafts and industrial design that unequivocally determined Jordi Vilanova's career, in our re-edition we have introduced new materials for the lampshades to also enhance the Mediterranean spirit of the collection. The materials used for its production are 100% recycled methacrylate, natural raffia shade or natural wood slats for the lampshade and iron for the structure.
