OIVA is a wooden chair designed by Antti Kotilainen for Lapalma. This is OIVA, the new all-wood chair designed by Antti Kotilainen for Lapalma.In Finnish, the word “OIVA” means "something good", pleasant and familiar, such as the memory of a childhood kitchen in a northern European home. Its wood frame accommodates a comfortable bent plywood backrest and a seat, also made of bent wood. Easy to move, lightweight and stackable, OIVA perfectly fits into public spaces (cafeterias, canteens, restaurants, cafés or offices), as well as in the kitchen or living room.OIVA is sustainable: its single-material core, made entirely of wood from FSC-certified forests, allows it to be completely recycled at the end of its life while fully respecting the environment.
