Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, founders of the London-based Industrial Facility, are internationally renowned for the beauty and gracefulness of their designs, which almost always feature the most common everyday objects. For Kristalia, they designed Palco, an outdoor seating system inspired by pallets, slatted tables and classic outdoor decking. The ideal location recommended by Kristalia for Palco is on covered and semi-covered verandas and terraces. In addition to the version with teak wood slatted top, which can be treated with oil or left natural to make it take on its characteristic silver color over time, Palco is now also available with a platform in drawn aluminum, also with slats. The aluminum version is 100% recyclable and requires no maintenance.
