The cantilever parasol by Il Giardino di Legno is the ideal solution for creating shade in a functional and versatile manner. The base remains outside the shade and can also be used as a flower box, while the canopy can be tilted and turned with just one touch to shield from the lower sun rays in the afternoon, or closed to spend the day tanning. The upper part of the fabric has two layers and is perforated so as to let the wind blow through it. This hanging umbrella is easy to open and close thanks to the handle on the back and the pulley system. Moreover, the sliding side bar on the internal side of the post allows to tilt the parasol. To ensure the parasols will close when used in a dining table the parasol has a telescopic fitting. This raises the pole top section when the canopy is being closed, allowing the parasol to be completely closed over the table. Frame available in white or antracite color. Cover standard is in Ecru color, more colors available on request. Cleansed and powder coated tubular aluminium structure. Chair and sunbed seats and backs in high frequency welded Batyline®. Teak wood or frosted glass table surfaces. Roof and roll-up blinds are in natural bamboo. ‘Lui’, Italian word for Him, has a masculine feel, with elegant black matte satin finishes, while ‘Lei’, meaning Her, articles are in a chic semi glossy white. Two finishes different in colour and texture perfectly matching with the Fine Sanded Teak wood, the frosted glass and the Ferrari technical fabric proposed in Black as standard version for Lui items and in white for Lei items.
