For the realization of Hästens Maranga the best natural materials are chosen: horsehair tail, wool, cotton and linen. They are handcrafted with the layer-by-layer technique created by Hästens. Following the characteristic pattern of the Hästens fabric - or more in detail, the square - each seam is performed with extreme precision always in the right place. Maranga is a term of the Maori people and means "wake up". It is a clear indication of the effect that a night spent on this work of art can have.
