Suspended custom sculptural installations inspired by the shared forms of dunes and waves and their meeting point. Cast crystal ripples are suspended weightlessly by strands of glimmering microfine thread. The ‘seas’ are represented by clusters of rippled translucent crystal components, whilst the ‘sands’ are defined through their luxurious precious metal finishing.
Integrated downlights or suspended micro pendants within the footprint of the installations project subtle caustic ripple forms onto surrounding surfaces, extending the aesthetic reach of the sculpture to create a luxurious ethereal atmosphere.
Custom Sand & Sea commissions range from small contained artworks to large scale art installations inhabiting entire rooms in private and commercial interiors. Our in-house designers collaborate with client’s design teams on the formations to create narrative driven designs with intrinsic links to their physical and emotional environments.
Sand & Sea is also available in standard suspended compositions which are split into two sets characterised by their overall form: Cascading Waves and Rolling Waves.
