From Corian, a solid, non-porous and uniform material, the TOP CORIAN washbasin top was generated. Formed of minerals and pure acrylic polymers, the washbasin tops have the colours and pattern through the entire thickness and therefore are not subject to wear.
Corian has been certified by an independent laboratory as a hygienic material in compliance with the international DIN EN ISO 846 standard, and these surfaces do not permit fungi or bacteria to form and develop. It is inert and non-toxic: if exposed to normal temperatures it does not release any gas
if it burns it just releases carbon oxides, and the smoke it produces has a limited optic density and does not contain toxic halogen gas. The surfaces and basins, which are fitted without any visible joins, are extremely easy to maintain and clean, thanks also to the non-porous surface which prevents all liquids, fluids and chemical substances from penetrating.
