Information

Suspension lamp giving directional light with prismatic polycarbonate diffuser. The external covers can be selected from numerous variants in different materials, aesthetics and colors. The light emission can be selected in two shades (2,700 K, 4,000 K). Different control modes are possible: - OF - on/off - DW - dimmable WOOD is a range of covers made through embossing of reconstituted wood, i.e. wood from sustainably managed forests that replicates the grain of tropical woods (teak, zebrawood). Thanks to this technique, original design and subsequent production of aluminium moulds, original geometric textures can be embossed on the wood. This technique uses a tenth of the wood and energy that would be needed to make it from solid wood (we use less than 100 g of sustainable wood per lamp). As a result of the type of processing employed, you can admire the beauty of the wood species without affecting nature. For each lamp produced, GENOMA plants a tree and follows it for the first four years of its life. This ensures that the tree grows healthy and flourishes, contributing to reforestation and the reduction of Co2 in the atmosphere. Each covers creation starts with the design of original geometries. We then produce the imprint on a thin sheet of wood. We cut the sheet by hand and glue it onto a composite substrate in order to meet stringent safety requirements. The outline of the panel produced in this way is further defined with an original line. Both front covers are made of rubber moulding on metal plate to ensure a contrasting effect. The ceiling rose is customised with a print of the same essence as the lamp.
