Gbmodular

GBmodular is a fabric garden sofa with an anodised aluminium frame. Its uniqueness lies in the clipping between its extruded recyclable aluminium profiles. This technique makes it possible to juxtapose aluminium panels in an infinite number of dimensions and, with them, to create structures using a mechanism composed of an aluminium knot and screwed-in stainless steel bolts. In 2023 GBmodular demonstrates the great expressive possibilities of its system of construction and is incorporating pieces suitable for creating complete environments into its collection: a lounger, an armchair, a two-seater sofa, a low table, a mirror, a bookshelf available with and without doors and a sideboard. These last two designs, the bookshelf and the sideboard, can be equipped with doors made of Iroko wood and tempered glass. Mono-material, 100% recyclable and handmade, GBmodular reduces material waste as much as possible. GBmodular introduces textiles into its products to bring comfort and warmth to its seated furniture, opting for an outdoor cushioning upholstered in stripes,which simulate the joints between the structures and match their width. Seats and backrests have removable covers and are filled with polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fibre with water-repellent fabric. Durability, resistance and easy maintenance are guaranteed thanks to the use of technical fabrics from brands such as Kvadrat or Sunbrella, and fabrics made from 100% recycled and recyclable PET from the Reviva brand, which reduce material waste as much as possible. GBMODULAR represents the perfection of the construction system designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales and his team more than 20 years ago to devise the first outdoor furniture collections that have projected GANDIABLASCO internationally. The peculiarity of this new line of furniture lies in the patented system of clipping between aluminium profiles, which makes it possible to obtain aluminium panels in an infinite number of dimensions and with them to shape structures through the manual assembly of an innovative system composed of an aluminium knot and screwed stainless steel bolts. The series takes as its starting point three tables and three benches made of aluminium fibres that have the same dimensions in terms of width and thickness but differ in length -they can reach up to 7 metres-. The tables, whose central pieces are more robust, are accompanied by side benches that can be successively aligned according to their use or needs. Sustainability is a fundamental added value in the design of GANDIABLASCO furniture. GBMODULAR always uses the same aluminium profile extrusion, which reduces material waste to a minimum.
