Created in 2002, the Athénée sofa was the first contemporary model of the collection, with soft cushions and a straight wood raised base.
Technical characteristics
Upholstery: in leather, but it is also available a wide range of fabric. Both cushions and covers can be removed.
Seat: HR PU foam, density 37 kg/m³ covered with a blend of polyester fibres, foam particles and feathers in a compartmentalised cotton slipcover. Full foam option available: HR PU foam, tri-density 18, 35 & 40 kg/m3 in a cotton slipcover.
Back: HR PU foam, density 26 kg/m³ covered with a blend of polyester fibres, foam particles and feathers in a compartmentalised cotton slipcover.
Armrest: blend of polyester fibres, foam particles and feathers in a compartmentalised cotton slipcover.
Structure: cross bars made of solid beechwood, side panels made of beech plywood covered with PU foam.
Suspension: Stainless steel springs mounted in rubber struts under layers of felt and high density PU foam.
Feet: solid beechwood (9 stains available).
