The Frankfurt furnitures are part of a series designed by the architects Norbert Berghof, Michael Landes and Wolfgang Rang representing the German version of Postmodernism and, within this version, more specifically representing the "Darmstädter-Frankfurter Schule". The designs of this production series are produced in a limited quantity of 100 pieces each and are numbered, dated and signed. The Frankfurt cabinet F2 is a secretary bureau in bird´s eye maple, ebony, bruyère, root timber and gold leaf, marble types Port´Oro, Lasa and Nero Marquina. It is provided with small safe-deposit boxes, secret safes, drawers and a writing plate. Every single piece is an individual construction - a hand-made masterpiece. The Frankfurt cabinets are works of art. They have been part of significant exhibitions and many international museums have bought them.
