ARP is a 2 seater thermo lacquered aluminium sofa by DIABLA, design by MADE STUDIO.ARP, a collection of outdoor furniture created by Borja García and Laura Ros from their architectural firm Made Studio, embodies their conception of design as something passionately rational, as analytical as it is emotional, which should improve the lives of people and the world they inhabit. With pieces like Arp, it’s easy to imagine any environment in a space open to the outside becoming as intimate and private as a secret garden.Based on a thermolacquered aluminium tubular structure - highly functional and easy to maintain - the series is composed of an armchair, a two- and three-seater sofa and a coffee table. The Arp pieces are absolutely contemporary, architectural and elegant.In any case, their undeniable aesthetic power should not mislead us: the structural and constructive dimension have had the same weight as the scenographic one, but more, when it comes to being conceived. Arp represents an abstraction of the cast iron furniture and the tectonic architecture of the 19th century, seen and worked from the innovation and design typical of the 21st century.This raw, sincere and daring collection plays with geometry and bright colours, which can be applied both to the thermo-lacquering of the frame and to the fabric of its generous cushions. The warm, textile component plays an important role in softening its formal appearance, providing comfort from close up and allowing, in turn, for enormous possibilities of personalisation.Colours: White, pink, red, grey, anthracite, sand, bronze.
