Bali

The Bali lamp is characterized by a cubic-shaped diffuser, extremely light. Designed in 1958 with a material then absolutely innovative plastic is now reinterpreted with a sustainable bamboo fabric. It is a modular composition self-buildable. Each component, folded into a minimal flat pack, can be easily assembled and disassembled. Diffuser in bamboo fiber with elastane (92% bamboo viscose and 8% elastane), steel, aluminum. The diffuser is made from bambù, an alternative to more traditional industrial textile solutions with a greater carbon footprint. The fabric chosen for the diffusers is obtained only from fibres found in nature, and is made using mechanical spinning techniques without the use of chemical processes. It has been chosen for their aesthetic and technical characteristics, and for the environmental, economic and social sustainability of the crops from which they are derived. The entire production chain is characterised by an ethical approach.
