The curved line of the Roattino standing lamp looks as though a snake charmer had made the cable rise and the lamp head bend. An S-shaped bent steel tube guides the cable and rests on a black-lacquered base. Individual, non-conforming and with a tad of humour, this is a design typical for Eileen Gray. A simple asymmetrical fabric shade dims the light and makes Roattino an especially pleasant reading lamp.
Floor Lamp. S-shaped tubular steel and lamp stand steel, lacquered in black or cream. A pivot enables various positions of the lampshade. Lamp shade fabric in white, plasticized inside (hardly inflammable according to B1). Foot switch, dimmable. Felt gliders in grey. Light bulb included.
