Designer Herbert Schultes chose the Latin name Orbis not only because the shade of this lamp resembles a concave disc but also because the light, if turned towards the wall, is reflected around the circular metal shade like the sphere around a planet. The Orbis standing lamp can be adjusted in a diversity of positions due to joints without cables and a swivel reflector, facilitating the direction of the light at sofas, desks or beds. A dimmer enables the regulation of the light intensity. The clear design discretely integrates into any environment. Floor Lamp.
