Valor.S is a tribute to Vallauris, a small village on the French Riviera where, after the Second World War, Pablo Picasso settled with many other artists, including Marc Chagall, Jean Cocteau, Jean Marais, Jean Lurçat, Georges Jouve and Roger Capron, revealing to the world the beauty of enamelled porcelain.

Philippe Starck elaborates this approach with a contemporary and timeless design made from hand-painted, enamelled ceramic. The Valor.S table lamp and wall light particularly stand out for their smooth and organic form and bright colours which include ivory white, orange, green, gold and silver.
