STEELAB SBA custom-made metal planters with removable growing trayMaterial: metal, sheet metal, aluminium, galvanized steel, pre-galvanized steel, corten steel, stainless steelDerived from the STEELAB SLD range (folded and weld-free sheet metal containers designed to form linear planters), the concept is completed with one or more removable growing trays. This system allows the lacquered sheet metal covering to be separated from the planting area. This is an undeniable advantage for reducing the weight of soil by limiting the useful height or volume of each growing tray. The latter can thus be dimensioned so as to be manoeuvrable in order to meet the constraints of the DTU concerning the accessibility of waterproofing, for example.As the “extern skin” is separate from the growing area, it is less stressed and no longer suffers from the harshness of ageing that is imposed on a planter. In addition to meeting sustainability criteria, this offers various technical functionalities: such as the integration of watering or waste water collection systems; the fixing on the ground; the association of elements to form linear agencements. Each bin can then have lowered partitions to form a uniform surface mulch along the length of the linear.Design details :Bottomless cladding in pre-galvanised Z275 steel, with fold and counter-fold at the top. Sheet metal powder coated (Primer + RAL colours or other on request, different finishes possible) and assembled without welding. Two assembly possibilities according to the dimensional constraints or the expected aesthetic:– assembly on the short sides. Ideal for shelf use, the assembly area remains hidden between each pot. – Mitre joint in the corners. Preferred solution if all 4 sides of the product are visible.Installation on adjustable feet.Growing tray(s): one or more trays per set depending on the size. Made of pre-galvanised Z275 steel, glued / riveted. Draining, waterproof, or equipped with a wall crossing for connection to the network, each project will find its solution.Material variants:To meet weight requirements, pre-galvanised steel can be replaced by aluminium.
