Shell chair is an enduring design exercise.‎ With a highly memorable and iconic geometry, Shell represents a direct dialogue between backrest and structure, between solid and malleable, wood and metal.‎The aim was to create an all-round product, capable of fitting into both private and a public spaces, due to its modularity and its different finishes this porpouse became possible.‎ The structure has been developed in a bigger thickness than usual in order to give this product character, without being invasive.‎ Thanks to its hidden fittings, the plywood shell seems to be simply coupled on the structure, creating a clean and easy to understand unit.‎  The plywood  shell is available in various finishes, making the collection highly versatile.‎ From lacquered MDF to oak-finish plywood, highlighting the warmth of the wood, and upholstery, which always adds a touch of comfort to any piece.‎Frame: 0,86 inch diameter calibrated tubular steel.‎Seat/Backrest:  Plywood backrest carcass, with oak veneer finish.‎ Also available in lacquered MDF in any color.‎ Подробная информация от производителя о SHELL | Стул annud
